Leslie Katz is a partner at Clark Hill LLP in their Government and Regulatory Affairs and Corporate practice groups. She works with clients to navigate through local and state agencies on government law and policy issues to optimize the political, legal, and business environments in which her clients operate. Leslie has an in-depth understanding of state regulations and strong relationships with state and local legislators and state constitutional officers. Leslie is a former member of the Board of Supervisors for the City and County of San Francisco, serving as chair and/or vice-chair of numerous committees. She was previously elected citywide to the San Francisco Community College Board of Trustees. After leaving the Board, she was appointed to the San Francisco Port Commission by Governor Gavin Newson when he was serving as Mayor of San Francisco. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Bay Area Council and was formerly the U.S. Smart Grid Director for the Joint US China Cooperate on Clean Energy.
