Mark Young

Mark Young is a Bay Area investor, civic leader, and nonprofit executive whose work spans financial technology, real estate investing, and cross-sector partnership building. He serves as Chief Investment Officer of Concreit, a fintech platform expanding access to income-producing real estate, where he has helped guide platform strategy, investor growth, and capital deployment.

Mark brings experience at the intersection of capital markets, innovation ecosystems, and public-private collaboration. He is a co-founder, Vice President, and Treasurer of the Film SF Alliance, supporting San Francisco’s film and media economy through governance, advocacy, and cultural exchange initiatives, and has served on the Monkey King Organizing Committee at San Francisco Opera. He is also the founder of Stand With Asians, a civic initiative focused on coalition building and community leadership.

Mark has worked closely with business leaders, nonprofit institutions, and civic partners across the Bay Area to advance initiatives that connect economic opportunity with cultural and people-to-people engagement. As a member of the Bay Area Council China Initiative Committee, he brings a perspective grounded in economic innovation, institutional trust building, and long-term relationship development between the Bay Area and China.
